This is what we're building. It isn't available yet, but this is how Menu will work when we launch it.
The customer scans and sees the menu in their browser, downloading nothing and giving no details. Generate the QR codes from the dashboard for tables, bar, terrace or window.
Put up the price of coffee, mark the octopus as sold out or hide half the menu out of season. You save it and the next customer already sees it.
The 14 mandatory allergens per dish, plus vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free labels. Customers filter for what they need and stop asking.
The menu is translated into your customers' languages and stays translated: when you change a dish, only what you touched is retranslated.
Every dish with its photo and, if you like, a video of a few seconds. What catches the eye gets ordered more, and it doesn't cost an extra add-on.
Set lunch at midday, evening menu at night, breakfast until twelve, happy hour from seven to nine. They switch on their own at the right time, with nobody touching anything.
It recommends starters, pairings and desserts, and answers “does this have lactose in it?”. It takes the customer's allergens into account and puts what earns you margin first.
The most-viewed dishes that nobody orders usually have a price or a photo problem. The menu shows you that, along with what always gets ordered together.
You put in what each dish costs you and you know which one really makes you money. Ordering the menu by margin, rather than by habit, is what lifts the till at month end.
They're worked out from the ingredients, for the nutritional information more and more customers are asking you for.
The menu stays saved on the customer's phone. In the basement, on a village terrace or with the wifi jammed, it still shows.
High contrast, text that scales and screen-reader support. A menu that can't be read is a table that gets up and leaves.
In this business it's customary to sell the menu cheap and charge separately for everything that makes it useful. There are no add-ons here: what you see is what you get.
From €9/mo the tool, and only while you keep it active. No sign-up fee, no lock-in and no commission per order.
Showing the dishes is the easy part. What changes the day-to-day is that what the customer orders reaches the kitchen, the bill and your figures on its own.
The order lands on the right table and you know how long they've been sitting.
What the customer orders goes out to the kitchen and the bar without retyping it.
Whoever books sees the menu before arriving, and turns up decided.
The bill comes straight from what was ordered, invoice included.
You know what every returning customer orders.
We're still building Menu. Leave us your email and we'll tell you on launch day.
